Maharashtra: Score 40%, not 35%, to pass scholarship exam
Class V and VIII students who will appear for the state scholarship exams, will have to score 40%, instead of 35%, to pass, and no student will be declared 'fail'.
According to a recent government resolution, report cards will not mention 'pass' or 'fail', instead the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations will pronounce if the student is eligible or ineligible for scholarship.
